Ever since Einstein declared that time traveling could be possible, the theory has spawned countless debates on whether it can actually be done. Two prominent physicists, Michio Kaku and Stephen Hawking, however agree that the theory is sound and can be quite possible. Just don’t hold your breath thinking that the next time traveler would be an Emmett Brown:
“Some people think, ‘Well, maybe a backyard inventor may invent a time machine,’ ” said Kaku. “I don’t think so — I don’t think a backyard inventor’s going to find a time machine anytime soon.”
Time traveling would be quite an experience but it could be quite disastrous. Haven’t we learned from Sound of Thunder or Back to the to Future to know what could easily happen?
